What’s your plan to vote?

Voting matters. And having a plan to vote matters, because people with a plan are much more likely to complete their ballot before polls close on Election Day.

Right now you’ve got three main options.

Vote on Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 7

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Look up your polling place online (it may have changed once again), and bring identification with you.

Vote Early at the Board of Elections

This week the County Board of Elections is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., at 2925 Euclid Ave. It’s also open this weekend, Saturday 8-4 and Sunday 1-5. Then it’s open again Monday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Just like voting on Election Day, bring ID with you.

Vote by Mail

You can still request a vote-by-mail ballot this week. The Board of Elections absolutely must receive your application by Saturday, but the sooner you mail it to them the better. Once you recieve your ballot, you have two options for returning it in time:

  • Return it to the Board of Elections in person by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. (Do not take it to a local polling station.)
  • Get it postmarked by Monday, November 6. If you’re mailing it on Monday, go to the post office to make sure that your ballot is postmarked.

Thank you for voting!
